The DOT-Lab or Data Science Laboratory of Université TÉLUQ is made of researchers whose research activities are centered around the development and use of tools specific to data science. Data science aims to extract knowledge from data sets using artificial intelligence and the cloud.

DOT-Lab research leads to a better understanding of human behaviour and social and environmental systems and the changes they undergo. The work is supported by a state-of-the-art physical infrastructure including drones with cameras, sensor networks deployed in forests, a chemical analysis laboratory and servers dedicated to big data. The DOT-Lab seeks to improve our productivity and adaptability to threats such as climate change.
